I am writing to you about the passion that the Spirit of God birthed in my heart concerning sharing the keys to kingdom team-building! I would not be as successful as I am if I had not learned the keys to building a dedicated, loyal, team mentality in our church.

How excited I was when the Spirit of the Lord impressed upon me to make Effective Team Building the emphasis of this year’s Church Development Strategies Conference in October! Although we can see the importance of teamwork and team building throughout society, it seems like the church doesn’t seem to get it!

With teamwork, you can see your ministry reach the growth goals that you have only imagined!

Through team-building, you won’t have to give up on your dreams because you are not growing as speedily as you had planned!

You may think that your lack of church growth is a lack of an effective media ministry, but the real secret is in team-building and not television!

IT SEEMS LIKE MOST CHURCHES DON’T GET IT!

Teamwork is the foundation for success in every segment of life! We see it in the world of sports where teamwork is essential! It can be seen even in sports like tennis and golf where it appears that it’s a one man sport, but look closer and you will see a player’s trainers, their managers, their coaches and their staff! You see, it’s all about teamwork!

I saw this when I worked in the business sector; there was always the need for teamwork to bring corporate success! The owner of the company I worked for was a master at building teams and motivating our teams to work together to secure our dominate position in our market place. From the      sales team, to the data processing workers, along with the accounting and customer service      departments, we all worked together toward the success goals of the company because we knew      what was at stake.

When you look carefully into any industry, you will see the fingerprint of teamwork that causes
success!      Yet, it seems like the church doesn’t get it. We’re surrounded by teams at work and yet       in the church world, most pastors attempt to operate like the Lone Ranger but still expect the success       that only teamwork can bring.

My wife, Lady Bridget, and I understood this years ago and we began to recruit                 and build a team of people committed to our calling and assignment. The people                       on our team then and now are both church members and non church members committed                       to our ministry’s success.

At the conference, I want to show you how to build an effective team, with the people you                               have, that will maximize your effectiveness! I believe the Lord has given me wisdom to                               show you how to better connect with the people in your ministry to get maximum results.
