Lady Bridget E. Hilliard was born the third child to the late O.C. and the late Jewell Harrison of Houston, Texas on March 12, 1956. On October 4, 1975, Bridget married Ira Van Hilliard.

Bishop I.V. and Lady Bridget Hilliard are the co-founders of the dynamic New Light Christian Center Church ("One Church, Multiple locations") in North, South and East Houston; Beaumont and Austin, Texas. Their passion to take God's Word to a hurting and lost generation has resulted in a current church membership of over 28,000 and counting. New Light Christian Center Church is not only recognized around the country as a Mega-Church, but in September 2007 it was honored as one of the Top 50 Most Influential Churches in America.

Included in this sphere of influence as a Mega-Church is a nationwide television ministry, drug rehabilitation centers for men and women (Life Change Institute), the ministry's own satellite network, an Aviation Division, Light Commerce Credit Union, and early childhood development centers for the north and south locations (Light Christian Academy).

Lady Bridget is the author of several relevant and thought provoking books that have truly enhanced each reader's relationship and walk with God all over the country. Some titles include but are not limited to: My Thoughts on Victorious Confessions, How to Dream Beyond Your Means, Grace for Dream Fulfillment, The Will to Win and My Set Time for God's Favor. These books have blessed the lives of thousands in the Body of Christ.

She is also the founder of Women Who Win (WWW). An annual conference is held to edify, enrich and provide spiritual and practical knowledge for living an exciting Christian lifestyle. The first conference was held in April 2008 with over 7,500 women registering. As a result of the phenomenal success of the conference, along with everyone's desire to remain Connected for Destiny, The Women Who Win Network was established (www.thewomenwhowin.net). There is no doubt that this network is sure to assist in surpassing all that one can hope or dream in 2009. In addition to the wisdom she imparts into this women's ministry, Lady Bridget daily ministers to women on the Word Network with her own television program called Women Who Win (WWW).

With a staff of 260 people to assist her, she is committed to creating and cultivating an authentic church experience that glorifies God and exceeds all expectations. Her unwavering compassion for people along with her faithfulness to build into God's people, PURPOSE, POWER, and PRAISE will continue yielding great results in the kingdom of God.

The Hilliard's have committed to the parental oversight of three lovely daughters: Tina Hilliard-Egans, husband - Terry Egans; Irishea Hilliard-Lewis, husband - Jeffery Lewis, and Preashea Hilliard. The Hilliard's are also very proud to have four grandchildren: Ira Emanuel, Briona Janae, Ivan Harrison, and Jonathan Sean-Michael. All the children and grandchildren have been marked for ministry with all the adult children currently working in full time ministry with their parents.
